Hehe, took a while to upload the pictures (I'm at Andres' place and internet is acting uberslow right now) Hmm, yea so now you see how the original (absolutely untouched) images look. I picked them kind of randomly, some close and some not, only where the model is me or my close friend, not a client. A few behind the scene pictures

This creepy serie was supposed to be ready for halloween. We took the death and witch pictures on october 31. As we actually don't celebrate halloween here, we still had the chance to wear costumes. :D We had 6 ideas but managed to do only 3 due to lack of time, but we will certainly do the others too.

Yesterday I went to Pille's place and decided to overlook all the costumes we have made for photoshoots so far. Some of the pieces are more than five years old and some of them aren't finished yet. So we tried everything on and it felt quite good, because everything fit perfectly (yeey :D). So yea, we tried everything on and took a quick picture of each costume, so we can share everything we've done. Unfortunately something happened while I was loading the photos to a memorystick and when I came home and plugged the stick to my pc there were only a few photos on it. So I will post the photos of the costumes some other day, when I can get the rest of them from Pille.

Photoshoot with Pille

I had a photoshoot with Pille like a ummm...mmmm..like over a month ago but i wasn't able to do the post processing because of loads of schoolwork. I still haven't finished editind the rest I want but since I don't know when I will finish with them I'm going to post some right now...or later on.
So the huge inspiration this time came from Galliano's 2009 fall collection and later I just looked at pictures of slavic fairitale characters and so on. :D

I just fell in love with this collection at first sight and I was kind of sure that next costume would look something like it.

Costume was made by me and Pille...like we don't have much better to do in Tartu. :D We actually started making it in March and then waited until the weather would be a bit warmer. :)

Anyways, the weather on that day was great and it was the first time I used my new camera on the photoshoot. Since I took pictures of Pillle, she couldn't be the assistance this time. I asked Janne if she could come and help me with the lightning and she was able to do it. Many many thanks! I did the hair and make-up like always. :)

Hello, my dear photoblog! Good to see you again...

I had totally forgotten about my photoblog for a while...and I really don't know why. But yeah, lately the urge of taking photographs has grown inside me. Maybe it's because of the spring (warmer and sunny weathers, growing grass and leaves) that inspires me.
I'm not a good writer so I'll stop right now before the post turns into the worst expression of feelings that has ever written.
This Tuesday I had a photoshoot with Kristi. Thought I should share some pictures with you. :)

Basket "Kapsuke"

Uploading a photo of selfmade and designed basket I made at school. You probably know why I named like this. It can be put together so it's easier to store. Made of bent veneer. ;) Oh and I found some photos taken of making the bent veneer. Several layers of veneer and glue were placed onto a mould and then put into vacuum bag.

Yesterday I had a photoshoot with Saile again. The photos were taken for my schoolwork. I had this idea for a long time actually, but there wasn't just a fitting weather for the shooting. It was quite cold and snowy a couple of weeks ago and I just had to wait for the snow to melt. Fortunately, yesterday the weather was absolutely perfect. Thank you God! :P
AND I thank Pille and Saile ofcourse who were very helpful. Poor Saile, had to pose for me with quite cold and windy weather. She's shuch a good model and never whines about a thing! :)
I actually haven't started with the editing yet. But I think I can post them soon.

Behind the scenes

Hey! You probably were all thinking that I wouldn't post anything here anymore. Sorry for not doing it for so long time. I kind of didn't "touch" my camera for about 3 months! (Yea, I can't believe it either) :D I'm not going to whine here like " oh I've been so busy and tired and other stuff", because i've been completely OKAY. I just didn't feel like taking photographs.
Anyways two weeks ago I was shooting Saile. I kind of wanted to do something close to wild and native. I bought some fake fur, leather and fabrics with Pille and made some accessories and skirt really "fast" right before the shooting. Thank you very much,Pille, for the skirt and for assistance of the light.For animal-lovers,yes the fur she's holding is real, but it probably wasn't killed in a horrible way (probably during hunting and as we all know hunting is very essential) and if you really don't have any glue about it, then don't bother to post stupid comments about it. I hope I didn't sound too harsh here. :D
I still have some photos to edit and I will post them as soon as I finish the post processing. Right now I'll upload some behind the scenes. ;)

Hi again!

So, I had a kind of quick photoshoot with Janne on Sunday. I mean quick because I didn't expect to take photos the day. So, no preparations were previously done actually. I did a quick make-up and called Saile, if she was available to help me with the reflector. Fortunately she could come. :) But, as I said, I didn't expect to have a photoshoot the day, I hadn't charged my battery. That's why I couldn't take as many photos as I would have liked to. What a pitty!
Oh and I almost forgot to tell the most exciting part. :D We went to a horsefarm to take photos with horses. I knew it would be really difficult to shoot with animals and yes, it WAS. I hope it was worth trying and who knows...maybe I will do it again. :) But I'd like to thank Janne's friend, who let us to take pictures with her horses. =) I'm currently editing some photos. I will probably post them later this evening.

Photoshoot with Liisi

At last I finished editing photos of Liisi. Last week we went to Sangaste to take photos inside and near the manor. The service in Sangaste manor was very nice. Liisi requested me to take historical photos of her, since she wants to hang some of them on the walls of her flat, that is baroque furnitured. The photos kind of remind of the "Vanity Fair" shoot I had with Pille last summer. Probably because of the same dress. :D If you don't know yet, the dress is made by Pille and me.
Anyways, hair was done by me and Pille, make-up by me. I had two assistants this time-Saile and Pille (Many thanks!). I'll post behind the scene photos and finished ones separately.

Photoshoot with Olivia

I had a photoshoot with Olivia last Tuesday. She actually needed just two photos for a job she is applying for this summer(not modeling). BUT...she's too pretty to only take a few shots of her, so I ended up with hundreds of photos. :D And then came the hardest part...I didn't know which ones should I edit, because there were too many pretty photographs. :P So I just picked some of them to post here. :) I didn't do much editing, because I wanted them to have the natural look, since she just needs them for a job application. Many, many, many thanks to Pille and Helena who helped me...again. :D It means alot to me. Hair is done by Pille and Helena, make-up by me.
