Starry night

I was about to turn into an icecube while I was taking these photos. Stood in deep snowdrifts with more than 20 degrees below zero and cold wind. Used iso 1600 for these photos. Not a good choice because as we know, usually the noise ruins all the photographs. At least it made the stars visible in the photographs and that was my main purpose.

Hey!

Just had to make a quick post. I wanted to say that I've had luck in a competition again. :D So, I got second place in Garnier's photo competition. The theme was "We care about eachother" and it had something to do with green lifestyle or something. Ok the idea of the photo I took for the competition wasn't my own for sure because i've seen these kind of photos everywhere. :D The price was loads of products of Garnier. Oh and the winner of the competition was my classmate, Madis. Gratz!

Sunsets

Hey! I thought I should post some photos i've taken lately. So I decided to upload a few pictures of sunsets. Those aren't anything special. Sometimes, when I don't have anything interesting to do at home, I go take a walk alone to a"beach" that's about 500 meters away from my home. And I also take my camera with me. So here are some photos I've taken during nice evenings.




Tsau! Mõtlesin postitada paar pilti päikseloojangutest. Vahel, kui kodus igavaks läheb, käin üksinda jalutamas. Muidugi võtan ka alati kaamera kaasa. Pildid on tehtud paari nädala eest Tamula ääres. Neis pole küll midagi erilist, kuid ega tööde nn "sahtlipõhjas hoidmine" ka mõttekas ole. :D

Good news :D

I took part in a little photocompetition on March 20. It was the day when the spring "arrived". So all I had to do, I just had to get the atmosphere of spring into the photo. But the rules were that the photo had to be taken on 20th March. I happened to be at my boyfriend's place at that time and decided to take some shots near his house. Took this photo of dripping maple sap. And thank god, it was sunny that day. :) Heh, so for my surprise, I received an e-mail today saying I have won a token. :D I personally think it's not a special photo, but at least my boyfriend likes it. :D Usually he doesn't like my photos (yeah, that's sad, but I understand-he's not the artist-type person) :D

Startrails

I once read a book about stars and saw there an article about photographing startrails. Back to then I didn't have a camera, but i really wanted to try it out. Then some years later I got my first camera, and I still had the "startrail idea" in my mind but then i didn't have a tripod. haha. My boyfriend gave me a tripod as my birthday present. Ok, then i had a camera and a tripod, but there were no stars to be seen in the town. So i had to go to my boyfriend's place to take the picture, because he lives out of the town. And THEN, when i was at his place, the sky was always cloudy! :D But guess what, last saturday I had it all, that takes to photograph startrails. So I got my first startrails picture. :D It's not very good but not bad tough as it is my first one. :D

Jipii...lumii

Eile sai Andresega õhtul jalutatud. Sadas mõnusalt lund ja igal pool oli hästi lumine. Nii väga ilus oli. :) Jõulu tunne hakkas isegi tasapisi tulema. Ma olin siis tegelikult üsna kindel et hommikuks on taas porine ja märg. Aga näe imet, hommikul kui ärkasin, oli väljas isegi veel lumisem kui õhtul. Muidugi, ei saanud ma seda ilu siis pildistamata jätta. Käisin maja taga võsas tsiksutamas.

Pole tükk aega jälle midagi postitanud. :D Nädalavahetusel käisin Andrese pool. Teel sinna, lasin tal ühes kohas auto kinni peatada. Nimelt olin ma selle koha paari nädala eest meelde jätnud. Siis oli see koht muidugi veel kollasem ja ilusam, sest lehti oli puudel kümme korda rohkem küljes. Siiski ühe normaalse pildi sain ja veidi töötlesin ka(crop, contrast, colour balance, burn tool). Luban pilti desktopi taustana kasutada. :)

Sügis...

...on masendav, sest siis on kool. Aga see selleks. Issand, oma viimasest postitusest on juba möödas 18 päeva. Seda ma arvasin, et ma ei suuda oma blogi piisavalt tihti uuendada. Tegelikult mul lihtsalt polnud millestki kirjutada, sest pilte pole ma ka juba ammu teinud. AGA...täna käisin jalutamas ja võtsin fotoka ka kaasa. Harjutasin veidi käsitsi teravustamist. Tuleb tunnistada, et pole sugugi endaga rahul. Ei tea kas asi on minu halvas silmanägemises või milleski muus, aga enamus pildid tulevad suhteliselt udused. :D Sorteerisin need enam-vähem teravad pildid välja ja mõned siis ka postitan. Kleepisin need omavahel kokku, sest nii tundusid nad efektiivsemad(samas tekkis suur kvaliteedikadu, kui ma seda väiksemaks muutsin).

Siin siis veidi ilusaid sügisvärve...
